This notice explains how HomeEnergyHQ ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
HomeEnergyHQ is operated from the United Kingdom. You can contact us at contact@homeenergyhq.co.uk. We act as a data controller for the personal data we collect.
What we collect
- When you submit a quote form: name, email, phone number (if provided), postcode, property type, project type and any notes you add.
- When you contact us: any details you include in your message.
- When you browse the site: standard server log data (IP address, user agent, pages viewed). With your consent, anonymised analytics data via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.

Who we share it with
When you submit a quote form, we share your enquiry details with up to three vetted installers who can serve your postcode and project type. We list them as recipients in your confirmation email. We do not sell your data to data brokers or list buyers.
We use the following processors: Netlify (hosting), ConvertKit (email), Google (analytics, when consented).
International transfers
Some of our processors are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on UK adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Quote enquiries: 24 months from submission.
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights email contact@homeenergyhq.co.uk.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioners Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Marketing communications
We will only send you marketing emails if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by emailing us.
Changes
We may update this notice. The "last updated" date at the top will change accordingly. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
